We've all been there... The weather starts to warm up, and you start seeing all the new spring eco fashion looks. You can't wait to go shopping for some new Spring threads, like the Lana Skirt or a Bless Top, but there's no more room in your closet.

Today we are going to share with you six-easy steps you can take to clean your closet and make room for some new Salts & West must-haves for spring!

STEP 1. PUT ON YOUR FAVOURITE PLAYLIST.

I don't know about you, but whenever I need to get down-to-business, a good playlist always helps me stay focused and motivated. Put on your favourite playlist on Spotify, or turn on your favourite radio station. Whatever helps you get in the Spring-Cleaning groove!

STEP 2. LAY IT ALL OUT.

Find a nice big open space and lay out all your items (a freshly made bed works well). This allows you to see everything that is in your closet. You may even find find something you've been looking for ages for! Empty everything out!

STEP 3. USE THE ONE-YEAR RULE.

Go through your items laid out and make two piles: ONE - for the items you have definitely worn in the last year, and TWO - for the items you haven't worn. Odds are if you haven't worn that sweater in over a year, it's time to let it go!

STEP 4. FILL UP ONE BOX OF ITEMS TO DISCARD/DONATE.

I know that sometime it's hard to part with items you've had for years. You may be thinking, "Maybe I should keep this shirt just incase I decide I want to wear it." Don't let yourself go through this cycle - you haven't worn it for a reason. It's time to make room for new and better things. As Marie Kondo would say, "Things that bring you joy!". The great part about donating is that someone else will get a new top, and you will have more space in your closet for organic healthy clothes - a win-win!

5. ORGANIZE WHAT'S LEFT.

You did it! You've filled up a box of once-loved items and you're ready to tackle the keep pile. Invest in some items to organize your closet such as some slim hangers, those handy shoe compartments, a stylish hamper - get creative with it. When everything has a home, it makes it easier to away!

6. ADD SOME ECO-FRIENDLY OPTIONS.

Refresh your basics with some Eco-Friendly, Organic clothing items! Check out our guide to Spring Fashion in Bamboo. We've included some of our favourite combos for Spring fashion including our Lana Skirts, Bamboo Bless tees, The Callie Sleeveless Tunic, Bliss Bamboo Capri Leggings and much more!

Hopefully you'll be able to take-away at least one of these tips to help with your Spring cleaning this year. Just make sure to donate your pre-loved goodies instead of just throwing it away - you never know who may be in need of it.

Thanks for reading and Happy Spring cleaning - you got this!
